Annette Arnold

Home Care Support Worker
Founder

Throughout the years I have always been involved in community services on both a personal and
professional level. As a parent and a daughter I have been witness to the care of the elderly and
young children and therefore wanted to add value to both industries; I have worked as a family day
care worker in addition to aged care.

Over the last 2 years I have engaged in NDIS vocational opportunities as a means of furthering my
assistance to vulnerable members of society. I have had much vocational satisfaction assisting those
in need, as I too was once in a similar situation. After a significant car accident in 2017. I was unable
to care for myself independently. My reliance on my family and friends put strain on these
relationships resulting in the need to seek assistance from alternative external services. I now strive
to be that support to others, as I understand the challenges of isolation, limitations to physical
abilities whilst trying to maintain positive mental health.

My services are aimed at providing functional daily assistance, but above all, as the name suggests,
my values personally align with “We Love Care”.

Growing up in regional Western Victoria surrounded by many influential senior family members i was able to learn a great deal and founded a deep respect for those senior members of my community.

I feel it’s time to reconnect and give back to the community the knowledge, experiences, personal interactions, support and quality of life to the aged sector.

I have a background in social services (welfare worker), Nutrition and dietetics, Aswell as

Life Coaching Health and Fitness. I’ve worked in the Aged Care Sector since 2018 and

currently studying Cert 3 Individual Support Aged Care to become a personal carer.

I teach Crochet workshops for beginners and I’m a Fibre Master with 30 plus years of

experience in Fiber Crafts such as Knitting, Spinning, Crochet, Felting and Weaving, is a

favourite pastime, that I’m eager to share.

I am passionate about supporting seniors and ageing members of the community living the best independent lives possible both mentally and physically. I love a coffee and a chat, a laugh or sometimes just an ear to listen. I am reliable and dependable and believe there no T in can’t.
